The Columbus, New Mexico Historical Society CHS is an all volunteer non-profit organization formed in the mid 1970s with the goal to preserve, restore and protect our historical past. The Societys first task was to save the 1902 EPSW depot which had sat unattended for over twelve years. The Society now owns the depot and the grounds. To support this they have a very respectable museum in the depot with a first class gift shop. All artifacts have been donated which include such items as PCONTENT
